ROLL CALL: Mayor Honig and Councilmember Halpern
PUBLIC COMMENTS:
Members of the public may address the Public Safety Committee on items not on the printed agenda and within the Council’s/Committee’s subject matter jurisdiction. Please observe the time limit of three minutes.
BUSINESS:
1. Fire Season Update – Los Angeles County Fire will provide an update on fire related matters and an overview of preparedness for the upcoming fire season.
2. Public Safety Report – Los Angeles County Sherrif's Department and staff will provide an overview of recent public safety statistics, trends, and deployment strategies.
3. Public Safety Fair Update – Staff will provide an update on the City’s Public Safety Fair held at Westlake Village Community Park on September 17, 2025.
4. Russell Ranch Road – Staff to provide a progress update on addressing traffic safety concerns at the Costco/Market Place Intersection.
5. Community Park Driveway Entrance - Staff to provide an update on plans to improve line of sight for drivers entering and exiting the Community Park.
