CONSENT CALENDAR: Matters listed under the Consent Calendar are considered to be routine and will be enacted by one motion and one vote. Unless otherwise requested by a Councilmember, there will be no separate discussion of these items. APPROVAL OF WARRANTS: Warrants effective April 15, 2026, in the amount of $672,527.45 (Warrant Register is on file with the City Clerk) OLD BUSINESS:
1. CLEAN POWER ALLIANCE OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA ELECTRIC FLEET TRANSITION PROGRAM – AUTHORIZATION TO INSTALL CHARGING
STATIONS AT CIVIC CENTER AND PURCHASE ELECTRIC VEHICLE - Authorize the City Manager to negotiate and execute agreements within the Council approved budget of $143,404 to replace the existing charging stations and install two additional charging stations at the Civic Center and $45,000 to purchase a new 2026 Ford Mach-E as part of the Clean Power Alliance Electric Fleet Transition Program Agreement.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. REVIEW OF THE COMPENSATION STUDY FINDINGS AND APPROVAL OF RELATED SALARY RANGE ADJUSTMENTS - Approve the Compensation Study recommendations to be included in the Fiscal Year 2026-27 budget, including adjusting salary ranges to the 40% spread consistent with market trends.
2. APPROVAL OF A THREE-YEAR AGREEMENT WITH VASQUEZ AND
COMPANY LLP FOR AUDITING SERVICES - Approve a three-year agreement with Vasquez and Company, LLP incorporating the rates and charges contained in the firm’s cost proposal and authorize the Mayor to execute the contract on behalf of the City.
