Members of the public may address the Land Use Committee on items not on the printed agenda and within the Council’s/Committee’s subject matter jurisdiction. Please observe the time limit of three minutes.
BUSINESS:
1. Planned Development Permit No. 26-002, Administrative Tree Permit No. 26- 007
Applicant: Jason McMaster, on behalf of Calvary Community Church Project Address: 5495 Via Rocas
Project Description: Request to expand the existing parking lot at an existing place of worship. Proposed improvements include new drive aisles, fencing and gates, and installation of a sidewalk and street trees along Via Rocas and La Tienda adjacent to the expanded parking area. The project also includes encroachment into the protected zone of one oak tree.
2. Discussion of Sign Colors and Sign Programs (Citywide) Project Description: Discussion of approval history for sign colors and sign programs, and potential policy approaches related to consistency in sign colors citywide.
3. Discussion of Slope Development Standards – Arterial Views Overlay Project Description: Discussion of potential development standards for residential properties to preserve views of natural hillsides from major arterials, including regulations related to decks, walls, retaining walls, and similar improvements on sloped sites.
