PUBLIC COMMENTS:
Members of the public may address the Public Safety Committee on items not on the printed agenda and within the Council’s/Committee’s subject matter jurisdiction. Please observe the time limit of three minutes.
BUSINESS:
1. Public Safety Report – Los Angeles County Sherrif's Department and staff will provide an overview of recent public safety statistics, trends, and deployment strategies.
2. Fire Season Update – Los Angeles County Fire Department to provide an update on fire weather, conditions, and staffing.
3. Mental Health and Homelessness Program – COG representative to provide an update on the program.
4. E-Bike Safety, Education and Enforcement – Staff to provide an overview of community concerns and the efforts to address them.
5. Public Safety Committee Forecast – Update and discussion on planning for future Public Safety Committee agenda items.
