The City Council of the City of Westminster, California, convened on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. in a Special Meeting via In-Person, Community Services Building, Room A/B, 8200 W. Westminster Boulevard, Westminster, California.
CLOSED SESSION

CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Nguyen called the Special Meeting Closed Session of the City Council/Successor Agency to the Westminster Redevelopment Agency Meeting to order at 3:10 p.m., on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, via In-Person, at the Community Services Building Room A/B, 8200 W. Westminster Boulevard, Westminster, California.

Administrative Assistant Ramirez announced a quorum of the City Council present.

1. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FOR CLOSED SESSION
Prior to the start of oral communications, Mayor Nguyen reminded members of the public that this is the time to address the City Council regarding the one item listed on the agenda.
The following individual spoke under oral communications:
1. Tony Bui commented on the City previously being named an All-America City.
Mayor Nguyen interrupted the speaker reminding that this is the time of the meeting for Closed Session only.

Mayor Nguyen asked City Attorney Porter to explain to the speaker that comments must be specific to the Closed Session item listed on the agenda.
City Attorney Porter reminded members of the public that all comments at this time must relate to the Closed Session agenda.
1. CONTINUED - Tony Bui commented on unknown status for the appointment of a City Attorney and expressed concern over ongoing litigations.

The Mayor and City Council entered into Closed Session at 3:15 p.m.
COUNCIL ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Nguyen adjourned the City Council Special Meeting at 4:28 p.m. on Wednesday, September 17, 2025.
