Staff Reports Non-Action Items:
Fire Department – Chief Sergio Cruz, nothing to report, except for the need of fund for the stocking that the Fire Department give out to the children in town something he does every Christmas Holiday requesting if it can be pulled by the events funds, Mr. Mendez stated the donations were for the city events only as of Christmas in the Park and other events hosted by the city.
Police Department – Chief Lynn Mara, reported he will be going to Field Training Class to get certified the first week of December. Two potential new officers are in background City Manager- Laura Fischer, Provided a written report.
Public Works Director - Ramiro Barajas, discussed they are looking into the Storm Drain Project on 7th street, as well the Sanitary Sewer Report coming up at the Wastewater Plant.

Regular Business:
1. Discussion and action to approve Resolution 2024-20 ON ACCEPTING OFFICIAL COUNT PROVIDED BY THE IMPERIAL COUNTY REGISTRAR OF VOTERS- Christine Pisch, City Clerk.
Ms. Pisch reported the final voting proceeds provided by the Imperial County Elections Department of the following Re-elected City Council, Xavier Mendez- percentage 38.36%, Justina Cruz- percentage
31.31%, Ray Gutierrez- percentage 100.00%.

2. Action on appointing the City of Westmorland City Mayor- City Council. Council woman Beltran elected Council man Mendez to be Mayor, no sconced was passed, Council man Gutierrez elected Council woman Rivera to be mayor Council woman Cruz second the motion. Council woman Rivera appointed Council woman Cruz to be her Mayor Pro-tem.

After reconvening to open session Mayor Rivera reported that action of Claim: Rogers #CR081424 was Denied anonymously by City Council.
