CALL TO ORDER - REGULAR SESSION
Mayor Vinatieri called the Regular Session to order at 5:00 p.m. in the Admin Conference Room of Whittier City Hall, 13230 Penn Street, Whittier, CA 90602.

3. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
CONSENSUS
By consensus, the City Council approved the agenda as posted.
4. PUBLIC COMMENTS
None.
5. STAFF REPORTS
5.A. Board and Commission Interviews and Appointments
Recommendation:
1) Interview selected Social Services Commission and Personnel Board applicants;
2) Appoint two (2) members to the Social Services Commission for terms ending July 1, 2024 and July 1, 2026; and
3) Appoint one (1) member to the Personnel Board for a term ending July 1, 2027.
The City Council interviewed the following individuals and deliberated on appointments:

1. Minerva Gaines
The City Council considered Magdalena Barragnon Moe for the Personnel Board vacancy because she had previously interviewed.
CONSENSUS
By majority consensus, the City Council appointed Jeff Brauckmann and Isaac Martinez to the Social Services Commission and Minerva Gaines to the Personnel Board.
