CALL TO ORDER - SPECIAL CLOSED SESSION MEETING
The Special Closed Session was called to order by Mayor DePhillippo at 6:03 p.m.

Staff in attendance: City Attorney Jex and City Clerk/ Acting City Manager Morales
PUBLIC COMMENTS - CLOSED SESSION
There were no public comments
CLOSED SESSION
The City Council will meet in closed session pursuant to the provisions of Government Code section 54957 regarding Public Employee Appointment Title: Interim City Manager
RECONVENE INTO OPEN SESSION
The City Council reconvened into open session at 11:22 p.m. with all members present.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
City Attorney Jex stated that the City Council met in closed session with respect to the item on the Closed Session agenda and the City Council took the following actions:
1. Voted 4-1, with Councilmember Morabito voting no, to select Chris Mann as the Interim City Manager subject to the preparation and approval of an Interim City Manager Employment Agreement and pending successful completion of reference and background checks.
2. Directed the City Attorney to prepare an Interim City Manager Employment Agreement for the May 14, 2025 City Council Meeting and until such time that the Interim City Manager Employment Agreement is approved by the City Council, Janet Morales will remain the Acting City Manager.
ADJOURN THE SPECIAL CLOSED SESSION MEETING
There being no further business, Mayor DePhillippo adjourned the Special Closed Session at 11:23 p.m.
