THURSDAY JUNE 13, 2024
Mayor Rodriguez called a Budget Workshop meeting of the City Council to order at 9:04 a.m., in Council Chambers. The meeting was preceded by the pledge to the flag.
Roll Call: Councilmembers Madge Strong, Larry Stranske, Greta Kanne, Vice Mayor Gerardo Gonzalez and Mayor Saprina Rodriguez were present.
Also present were staff members: Brian Bender, City Manager; Cathy Moorhead, Assistant City Manager; Manuel Orozco, Finance Director; Walter Kolon, Services and Facilities Director; Scott Herman, Utilities Superintendent; and Delores Pedersen, City Clerk.

2. CITY COUNCIL DISCUSSION & DIRECTION REGARDING FISCAL YEAR 2024/2025 DRAFT BUDGET
The intent is to review as many of the following budgetary items during this two-hour session. The City Council will continue their review of any outstanding items at subsequent sessions. a. General Fund Status.
b. Review of Revenue Funds:
i. Special.
Finance Director Orozco provided a brief description of each fund proposed in the FY 24/25 Budget General Funds and review of Special Revenue Funds.
After lengthy discussion and questions the council will be reviewing the budget at the next City Council meeting of June 26, 2024 with possible adoption at the July 24, 2024 meeting.
