MINUTES
FRIDAY, MARCH 28, 2025
Mayor Stranske called a Special Meeting of the Willits City Council to order at 4:05 p.m. in Council Chambers. The meeting was preceded by the pledge to the flag.
Roll Call: Councilmembers Gerardo Gonzalez, Tom Allman, Bruce Burton and Mayor Larry Stranske were present.
Also present were staff members: Brian Bender, City Manager; Jim Lance, City Attorney; Cathy Moorhead, Assistant City Manager; and Delores Pedersen, City Clerk.
2. DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDATIONS (ACTION ITEMS)
a. Pursuant to Government Code §54957 - Public Employee Performance Evaluation - City Manager.
Public Comment: None presented.
City Council Adjourned to Closed Session at 4:08 pm.
3. ADJOURNMENT
The City Council reconvened to open session at 5:58 pm, reporting The City Council, unanimously agreed to the terms of a Separation Agreement with City Manager briar Bender Effective March 28, 2025.
The City Council will have additional details on the process to appoint an interim City Manager at a later date.
Mayor Stranske declared the meeting adjourned at 5:59 p.m.
