The City Council/Successor Agency to the Yorba Linda Redevelopment Agency convened at 1:01 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 4845 Casa Loma Avenue.

Name of Case: Yorba Linda Estates, LLC v. City of Yorba Linda Case Number: 30-2021-01206096-CU-OR-NJC, North Justice Center, County of Orange City Attorney Todd Litfin stated that Councilwoman Tara Campbell recused herself for one case on Closed Session Item A, Conference with Legal Counsel – Existing Litigation, because she has a potential conflict under Government Code Section 87100.
City Attorney Litfin stated that Mayor Carlos Rodriguez recused himself for one case on Closed Session Item A, Conference with Legal Counsel – Existing Litigation, because he has a potential conflict under Government Code Section 87100.
PUBLIC COMMENT ON CLOSED SESSION ITEMS
Bob Kanne, 34-year resident, said he listened to both days of the Esperanza Hills trial at the North County Justice Center and took several pages of notes. He expressed his concerns with the project and said that he believes the project, as currently designed, will have many negative impacts on the City. He urged Council to be mindful of their decisions regarding this project.
