1. TRAFFIC COMMISSION INTERVIEWS AND POSSIBLE APPOINTMENT 2 Recommended Motion:
It is recommended that the City Council interview the two (2) applicants and select one (1) resident to serve the remaining term ending December 31, 2026, created by the resignation of Dennis Equitz.

The next regularly scheduled City Council/Successor Agency to the Yorba Linda Redevelopment Agency joint meeting is August 15, 2023.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council interview the two (2) applicants and select one (1) resident to serve the remaining term ending December 31, 2026, created by the resignation of Dennis Equitz.
BACKGROUND
The City Clerk’s office recruited for the vacancy on the Traffic Commission by posting the vacancy notice at City Hall, advertising in the North County News-Tribune, Government Access Channel 3, and the City’s website. The recruitment period ended July 14, 2023 and a total of two (2) residents applied to serve on the Traffic Commission.
