Recommended Motion:
It is recommended that the City Council interview the applicants and consider the appointment of one person to the City Council for the remainder of the vacant term ending November 2024.
ADJOURNMENT
The next regularly scheduled City Council/Successor Agency to the Yorba Linda Redevelopment Agency joint meeting is February 20, 2024.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council interview the applicants and consider the appointment of one person to the City Council for the remainder of the vacant term ending November 2024.
BACKGROUND
The City Clerk’s office recruited for the vacancy on the City Council by advertising in the North County News-Tribune, the City’s website and on social media. The recruitment period ended February 6, 2024 and a total of nineteen (19) residents applied to serve on the City Council. The City Council has until March 11, 2024 to make an appointment. Otherwise, the seat will remain vacant until filled through the November election.
