CALL TO ORDER
The City Council/Successor Agency to the Yorba Linda Redevelopment Agency convened at 5:15 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 4845 Casa Loma Avenue.

PUBLIC COMMENTS ON THE ITEM ON THE AGENDA
Nellie R., resident, spoke on the City Council vacancy and urged Council to heed the concerns of local residents and not appoint anyone that will run in the November election to keep things fair and equitable.

The City Council interviewed the following applicants for the City Council vacancy: Wayne R. Scott, Richard de Bruijn, Barbara Mazeau, Jess Battaglia, Tobin Hobbs, Dr. Ahmed Soboh, Douglas Dickerson, Diane Kanne, Ann Mauer, Matt Rainwater and Harry J. Pettibone.
RECESS
Mayor Campbell called a recess at 7:55 p.m. and reconvened the meeting at 8:10 p.m.
City Council interviewed the following applicants: Trent Bray, Anthony Johnson, Peggy Huang, Nathaniel Behura, Shivinder Singh and Robert N. Sedita, Jr.
Mayor Campbell expressed her gratitude to all of the dedicated and passionate applicants and thanked them for their willingness to serve.
Councilwoman Lim made a motion to appoint Peggy Huang to serve the remainder of the vacant term ending November, 2024 and Mayor Pro Tem Haney seconded the motion. City Attorney Todd Litfin stated that the motion and appointment of Peggy Huang would be in the form of a Resolution.

It is recommended that the City Council adopt a Resolution appointing Peggy Huang to the City Council for the remainder of the vacant term ending November 2024.
