PUBLIC COMMENTS – ITEMS ON THE CONSENT CALENDAR OR ITEMS NOT ON THE REMAINDER OF THE AGENDA Dave Ramocinski, resident, thanked City Manager Pulone for his service. He spoke of an airport fire, the acres burned, structures lost and injured firefighters. He said the cause of the fire was due to equipment that was moving rocks during a Red Flag Warning. He said at the last City Council meeting of August 19th, Council approved Consent Calendar Item No. 7, related to Tentative Parcel Map 2021-145 and requested that grading not take place on Red Flag Warning days.

James Gaffney, resident, spoke about his life and expressed concerns over occurrences throughout the country.

Nick Saba, resident, shared his comments about developing property on Main Street and the challenges he has faced. He said he would like to see approvals occur quicker and see the City waive or reduce entitlement fees. He and other Main Street business owners are eager to work with staff to expedite development on historic Main Street.

The following residents expressed concerns on e-bikes and the proposed ordinance: Craig Holbrook, Dee Dee Friedrich, Christina Baroldi, Stewart Rixson, and Eric Anderson.

Scott Wiedensohler, retired Orange County Fire Authority Division Chief, said he greatly enjoyed working with City Manager Pulone and wished him the best in his retirement.

Pat Nelson, resident, echoed the comments about e-bikes on trails and cautioned the City about the liability. Ms. Nelson also inquired about Consent Calendar Item No. 13, regarding CivicPlus. She said she was not certain if that agreement had anything to do with the City's streaming, but she said her and her husband frequently have problems watching the meetings and suggested correcting that before approving another agreement.

Richard De Bruijn, resident, inquired about three properties. One on Imperial Highway and Valley View Avenue that used to be a car dealership, another across the street, which he believes is a private project by the Baptist church, and lastly, the property by Mimi's Cafe.

Greg Brown, Brown & Company, echoed the comments by Mr. Saba and encouraged help in the future with development. He also spoke about the success of Boots on Main and suggested having a sheriff's cruiser on the 4th level of the parking garage for added safety.
