APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH PM DESIGN GROUP, INC. FOR THE CERTIFIED ACCESS SPECIALIST REVIEW OF THE TOWN’S CURRENTLY ADOPTED ADA SELF-EVALUATION, AND TRANSITION PLAN FOR A CONTRACT AMOUNT OF $73,000 AND AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT.
Recitals
A. At the August 1, 2023 Town Council meeting, the Council discussed and provided direction to staff to evaluate the existing ADA Transition Plan and public facilities.
B. Town staff created a scope of work to have a Certified Access Specialist (CASp) with PM Designs complete this evaluation.
C. PM Designs provided proposal and quote for the work in the amount of $73,000.
D. Staff recommend approving the professional services agreement with PM Designs for the accessibility review of the existing Town facilities as listed and the Town of Yountville Transition Plan in the amount of $73,000.
Now, therefore the Town Council of the Town of Yountville does resolve as follows:
1. Adopt the resolution authorizing the execution of a professional services agreement with PM Designs for the evaluation of the Town's existing ADA Transition Plan and public facilities in the amount of $73,000.
2. The Resolution is hereby adopted and becomes effective and in full force immediately upon adoption.
