A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF YOUNTVILLE
RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT FOR THE NAPA VALLEY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY (NVTA) VISION ZERO PLAN.
Recitals
A. In October 2023, the Napa Valley Transportation Authority (NVTA) board adopted a Vision Zero plan. Vision Zero is a transportation system strategy to eliminate fatal and severe injury crashes on roadways.
B. NVTA requested for a local resolution of support from each jurisdiction.
C. This resolution is only in support of NVTA’s Vision Zero Plan. The Town of Yountville will not adopt the plan for the town.
Now, therefore, the Town Council of the Town of Yountville does resolve as follows:
1. Approve and adopt the resolution of support for the NVTA Vision Zero Plan
3. The Resolution is hereby adopted and becomes effective and in full force immediately upon adoption.
