Resolution Number 24-4247
APPROVING MID-YEAR BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2023/2024 Recitals
A. Whereas, Town staff have conducted a review of the Town’s budget at mid-year; and B. Whereas, the Town has traditionally amended its budget during the year as new and updated information becomes available; and
C. Whereas, staff recommend certain adjustments to reflect the updated revenue and expenditure projections.
Now therefore, the Town Council of the Town of Yountville does resolve to make the following budget adjustments:
1) General Fund Revenues
A. Increase to Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT): $225,000
B. Increase to Interest Income: $30,000
C. Increase to Risk Management Refunds & Reimbursements: $10,140 2) General Fund Expenditures ($141,340 use of Annual Budget Contingency) A. Increase to Government Buildings Property Insurance: $10,140 B. Increase to Government Buildings Equipment Maintenance: $13,000 C. Increase to Town Clerk Elections: $25,000
D. Increase to Parks & Recreation Administration Postage & Printing: $6,000 E. Increase to Parks & Recreation Camp Program Part-Time Salaries: $16,200 F. Increase to Town Manager’s Office Other Employee Reimbursement: $21,000 G. Increase to Non-Departmental Contract Services: $50,000 3) General Fund Expenditures ($175,000 use of Legal Contingency) A. Increase to Town Attorney Contract Services: $175,000 4) Other Funds Revenue
A. Increase to Fund 23 Public Art Program Fee Revenue: $10,000 5) Other Funds Expenditures
A. Increase to Fund 61 Water Utility Operations Contract Services: $6,000 B. Increase to Fund 23 Public Art Program Fee Contract Services: $8,000 6) Transfer
A. Move from departmental Health Insurance expenditure line items to Fund 02 OPEB Retiree Health Insurance Payments: $38,000.
7) The Resolution is hereby adopted and becomes effective and in full force immediately upon adoption.
