A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF YOUNTVILLE ADOPT RESOLUTION 24-4267 Approving a Budget Adjustment in Fiscal Year 2023/2024 Moving $19,400 from the Town Budget Contingency Account 01-0000-2921 to the Parks and Recreation Day Camp Part-Time Salaries Account 01-5406-4011 ___________________________________________________________________________ Recitals
A. The Town of Yountville offers a Day Camp Program providing important childcare options during out-of-school time for Yountville residents and families.
B. The program has experienced significant growth this year because of robust waiting lists and increased need.
C. As a result, the Parks and Recreation Department has increased the maximum number of campers accepted to 80 and in turn added staffing to maintain a safe camper-to-staff ratio. Adding staff has a cost that was not budgeted for prior.
Now, therefore, the Town Council of the Town of Yountville does resolve as follows:
1. Authorize a budget adjustment of $19,400 from the General Fund Assigned for Budget Contingency fund balance allocation 01-0000-2921 to the Parks and Recreation Day Camp Program Part-Time Salaries Account 01-5406-4011.
2. This resolution is hereby adopted and becomes effective and in full force immediately upon adoption.
