Mayor Mohler and Councilmembers,
On behalf of the Yountville Chamber of Commerce, I am writing to express our support for the proposed development of the Oak & Vine subdivision.
Housing availability is a pressing issue in our region. This project, which subdivides a 1.33- acre parcel into nine single-family residential lots, balances development with historical preservation and introduces much-needed new housing units, including affordable ones.
Adhering to the Housing Accountability Act and State Density Bonus Law, the project meets state housing requirements and supports our community's economic vitality by enabling more people to live and work locally.
The Yountville Chamber of Commerce supports this development and urges the Town Council to approve the proposed subdivision and development plan.
