ADOPT RESOLUTION 24-4280 FOR A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
FOR ON-CALL PLANNING SERVICES FROM METROPOLITAN PLANNING GROUP (M-GROUP) IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $40,000 PER FISCAL YEAR, TOTALING $80,000 FOR FY24/25 AND FY25/26.

A. In April 2023, the Town entered into a one-year Professional Service Agreement with Metropolitan Planning Group (“M-Group”) to provide temporary planning Staff support for the management and design of a special project.
B. In March 2024, the Town amended the Professional Service Agreement with M-Group which is set to expire at the end of June 2024 to perform on call planning support services for development and environmental review projects. In addition to reviewing of development and environmental projects, M-Group also provides staff reports, historic resource preservation review and compliance, general research and recommendations, attend meetings and present at public meetings, advanced planning and special projects.
C. Town staff seeks to renew the agreement with M-Group for continuation of services to maintain the high-quality relationships and services to which the Town has become accustomed for the Fiscal Years 2024-25 and 2025-26.
Now therefore, the Town Council of the Town of Yountville does resolve the following:
1. The Town Council hereby adopts the Resolution approving a Professional Service Agreement with M-Group for on call planning support services for development and environmental review projects. In addition to reviewing of development and environmental projects, M-Group also provides staff reports, historic resource preservation review and compliance, general research and recommendations, attend meetings and present at public meetings, advanced planning and special projects.
2. The Town Council authorizes the Town Manager to sign the Agreement and amendments.
3. The Resolution is hereby adopted and becomes effective and in full force beginning July 1, 2024.
