APPRVOING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH BPR
CONSULTING GROUP FOR CONTRACTED PLAN CHECK, BUILDING
INSPECTION, AND BUILDING OFFICIAL SERVICES, AND OPTIONAL CODE
ENFORCEMENT, TECHNOLOGY CONSULTING, AND IT AND GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SUPPORT SERVICES, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $135,000 PER FISCAL YEAR, TOTALLING $270,000 FOR FY24/25 AND FY25/26. ______________________________________________________________________________ Recitals
A. Since 2015 the Town of Yountville has contracted for plan check, building inspection, and building official services as needed on a part-time basis. These specialized services are needed to ensure new construction and additions and modifications to existing buildings to comply with the health and safety requirements of the Town’s Building Codes.
B. In October 2021, the Town entered into a one-year Professional Service Agreement with BPR Consulting Group (“BPR”) to perform these services. In addition to plan check, building inspection, and building official services, BPR also provides optional code enforcement, technology consulting, WELO review and IT support including assist with Solar APP+.
C. In May 2023, the Town extended the Professional Service Agreement with BRP Consulting Group (“BPR”) which is set to expire at the end of June 2024.
D. Town staff seeks to renew the agreement with BPR for continuation of services to maintain the high-quality relationships and services to which the Town has become accustomed for the Fiscal Years 2024-25 and 2025-26.
Now therefore, the Town Council of the Town of Yountville does resolve the following:
1. The Town Council hereby adopts the Resolution approving a Professional Service Agreement with BPR for on call municipal services for plan check, building inspection, and building official services, and optional code enforcement, technology consulting, WELO review, and IT support including Solar App+ support.
2. The Town Council authorizes the Town Manager to sign the Agreement and amendments.
3. The Resolution is hereby adopted and becomes effective and in full force beginning July 1, 2024.
