APPRVOING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH PLACEWORKS
TO PERFORM PLANNING CONSULTING SERVICES FOR THE TOWN OF YOUNTVILLE IN THE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $40,000 PER FISCAL YEAR, TOTALLING $80,000 FOR FY24/25 AND FY25/26
Recitals
A. In November 2021, the Town entered into a Consulting Agreement with “PlaceWorks” to perform consulting services for the Regional Housing Needs Allocation 6 (RHNA 6) 5th Cycle Housing Element after Request for Proposals was issued.
B. Town staff seek to enter into an agreement with “PlaceWorks” to assist with any outstanding requirements for the Housing Element and for other on-call planning needs for the Fiscal Years 2024-25 and 2025-26.
Now therefore, the Town Council of the Town of Yountville does resolve the following:
1. The Town Council hereby adopts the Resolution approving a Professional Service Agreement with PlaceWorks for services that will include on-call planning support for the Housing Element, general planning related development and land use project review, environmental determinations, conformance with Federal, State and local regulations, particularly California Environmental Quality Action (CEQA), and general compliance with regulations.
2. The Town Council authorizes the Town Manager to sign the Agreement.
3. The Resolution is hereby adopted and becomes effective and in full force beginning July 1, 2024.
