A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF YOUNTVILLE
AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO EXECUTE A USER AGREEMENT WITH
HOOPES VINEYARD LLC FOR OPERATION OF A FARMSTAND AND FARM PROVISIONS CAFÉ FOR PUBLIC BENEFIT AT THE YOUNTVILLE COMMONS SITE
__________________________________________________________________________ Recitals
A. The Town purchased the Yountville Elementary School Property in April 2024 and has conducted public outreach and research on the feasibility of operating a Farmstand and Farmstand Café at the site of the current Little League Snack Shack.
B. After researching potential partners, Hoopes Vineyard and Oasis by Hoopes has been found to be a strategic and viable partner to operate the space as intended.
C. The Town has the ability to enter into a Use Agreement for the Yountville Commons property located at 6554 Yount Street APN 036-070-026-000, for uses that are compatible with the existing zoning of Public Facilities of which a public Farmstand and Café catering to Yountville residents has been found to be a public benefit.
D. The Term of the agreement shall commence on execution and remain in effect for five years unless extended or terminated by written agreement.
Now, therefore, the Town Council of the Town of Yountville does resolve as follows:
1. Approve Resolution 24-4295 approving Use Agreement with Hoopes Vineyard LLC for operation of a Yountville Farmstand and Farmstand Café and authorizing the Town Manager to execute the Agreement.
2. This Resolution is hereby adopted and becomes effective and in full force immediately upon adoption.
