Why do you want to serve on this Board, Commission, or Committee? I am on the current Yountville Arts Commission and am presently serving as Chair. Our group of Commissioners works hard and cohesively towards our common goals: serving our artists and community. They are all great people who love our Town and enjoying serving as I do. It is pleasure to work with both Commissioners and our very supportive Town. I hope to continue my work as Chair of our Public Art Walk and continue serving on Gallery, Marketing, Mustard and Art, Sip & Stroll subcommittees. I'm proud of the growing recognition and appreciation Yountville Arts has received by our community and visitors and would be honored to be appointed for another term.

What strengths/expertise/special skills would you bring to the Board, Commission, or Committee?
Having graduated with a BS in Industrial design, I went on to work for many years as VP of Marketing & Sales for one of the largest homebuilders in California. Subsequently, I owned and maintained a gallery in Yountville for nearly 25 years where I met & worked with many artists and learned a lot about the practical side of a small business. Since closing the Gallery, I am an Art Consultant and remain in the art field. I believe my background helps me to work with all artists whether sculptors on the Art Walk or artists in the Gallery. As quirky as artists can be, I love working with each one of them. My sales background has allowed me to sell several of our Art Walk sculptures where again, I enjoy bringing the artist the right price for their piece and enjoy working with clients who appreciate Yountville and are usually very nice people. It's fun when it all comes together and a sale is made.
Please describe your previous community service and volunteer experience.
I served on the Board of the Napa Valley Museum was President for five years. In 2020 I developed a project aimed at Napa Valley women (though men were welcome) called 'Phenomenal Women'. The late Judy Groth with her daughter & granddaughters were our Honorary Chairs. Actress Lucy Liu was our Guest of Honor. It featured a fully catered luncheon with a live action that netted $100,000 for Museum projects.
Anything else you would like to tell us?
I have always appreciated the Town of Yountville and the support Yountville Arts receives to support the arts. I hope to continue serving on the Commission. Thank you for your consideration.
