Hello,
As a concerned resident adjacent to the Yountville Town Commons, I have a number of questions regarding the planning and current work at the site.
These questions have also been expressed as common to my neighbors in our community. As such, please do read this email aloud at the next Commons meeting along with answers to these questions.
I have to write this as an email because as a someone that works during the week, the main Town Commons Study Sessions with the actual Town Council, along with regular town council meetings, are impossible for me to attend in person to express these strong views. This is the same issue for many of my fellow town citizens.
1. What happened to the small dog portion of the temporary dog park, was this eliminated?
2. What will happen to the large amount of wood chippings from all of the trees that have been removed. How will these be prevented from just naturally being washed into the creek, a watershed violation?
3. When and where will these trees be replaced, a part of our arbor city certification? Sincerely,
