Re: Yountville's proposed code amendment to align with state Health and Safety Code language
Blue Zones Project Upper Napa Valley is writing this letter in support of The Town of Yountville’s proposed code amendment that would update the definition of a tobacco product to align with the state Health and Safety Code language. This is an important step toward reducing tobacco use in our community, reducing youth exposure to vaping and e-cigarette use, and ensuring our public spaces are free of secondhand smoke and vapors.
As a health and well-being initiative, Blue Zones Project Upper Napa Valley commends the Town leadership for their commitment to the well-being of community members and we encourage you approve this ordinance updating the city policy.
