6. YOUNTVILLE COMMONS STUDY SESSION
A. Yountville Commons Update and Presentation
Town Manager Raulston and Architect Brendan Kelly presented an overview of the Yountville Commons project, focusing on its initial visioning and ideas phase. The presentation highlighted key elements, including the importance of maintaining Yountville’s existing formbased architectural approach, which prioritizes creating a cohesive public realm through physical forms rather than strictly separated uses.

The presentation emphasized community input and presented examples from other projects to illustrate potential design alternatives. Additionally, the presentation covered Town Council priorities, including green energy initiatives, mobility options, and energy resilience through the exploration of a microgrid system.

Members of the community provided feedback and asked questions. The full meeting video is available to view here.
