Why do you want to serve on this Board, Commission, or Committee? I want to continue to serve on the Yountville Community Foundation Board to be part of financial and social support for the Town of Yountville, to preserve and grow a dedicated source of funds for community benefit, overseen by community members actively involved in the Town, and to encourage innovative approaches to social entrepreneurism and community benefit.

What strengths/expertise/special skills would you bring to the Board, Commission, or Committee?
I would bring years of experience in business management and budgetary oversight at regional nonprofit grantmaking foundations, a keen interest in community service, as well as ongoing involvement with public sector, having served as the Town as its representative on the Town of Yountville Community Foundation Board of Directors; Yountville's representative on the Napa County Library Commission; and the Napa Valley Transit Authority Citizen Advisory Committee.

Through my work at two nonprofit community foundations for over 20 years, I have helped to steward resources that benefit communities in the arts, community development, health, education, environment, and social justice. I want to continue to serve Yountville as a member of its Community Foundation Board. The TOY Community Foundation is at an exciting juncture as it presents the small grants program to the Town for broader community participation and community benefit.
