A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF YOUNTVILLE APPROVING THE DEDICATION OF A MEMORIAL BENCH FOR JAVAD AND AMANDA TREW.
Recitals
A. The Town of Yountville offers a Dedication/Memorial Program.
B. The program offers a systematic and consistent approach for the naming of parks, facilities, and for memorials like benches, trees, or plaques located in parks and recreation facilities C. The Program is offered to encourage donations and dedications by individuals or groups D. Staff has received and reviewed the application from the family of Javad and Amanda Trew and found it to be complete and meet the criteria established in the policy.
E. On September 19, 2024, the Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission reviewed and unanimously approved the application and its referral to the Town Council for review.
Now, therefore, the Town Council of the Town of Yountville does resolve as follows:
1. Approving the placement of a memorial bench dedicated to Javad and Amanda Trew Yountville as part of the Towns Dedication and Memorial Program.
2. The Resolution is hereby adopted and becomes effective and in full force immediately upon adoption PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Yountville, State of California, held on this 1st day of October 2024 by the following vote:
