A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF YOUNTVILLE AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO EXECUTE USE AGREEMENT 2025-953 WITH
YOUNTVILLE BASEBALL TO OPERATE A PUBLIC, YOUTH BASEBALL PROGRAM AT THE YOUNTVILLE COMMONS SITE LOCATED AT 6554 YOUNT STREET. ___________________________________________________________________________ Recitals
A. The Town purchased the former Yountville Elementary School Property in April of 2024 which included the baseball field.
B. The Town is conducting a long-term planning process for future development of the entire site including the baseball field area.
C. The Town has approved several interim uses as appropriate to provide the community access to the site and offer services not provided elsewhere during the planning and development process.
D. The Town is committed to the maintenance and upkeep of the Yountville Commons field during the planning and pre-development phase of the project.
E. The Town can enter into a Use Agreement for the Yountville Commons property located at 6554 Yount Street APN 036-070-026-000, for uses that are or compatible with the existing zoning of public facilities, of which continuing to offer a Youth Baseball Program has been found to be a public benefit.
F. Yountville Baseball has historically offered a Public, Youth Baseball League in Yountville and wishes to continue doing so.
Now, therefore, the Town Council of the Town of Yountville does resolve as follows:
1. Adopt Resolution Number 25-4337, authorizing the Town Manager to execute Use Agreement 2025-953 with Yountville Baseball to operate a Public, Youth Baseball Program at the Yountville Commons site located at 6554 Yount Street.
2. This Resolution is hereby adopted and becomes effective and in full force immediately upon adoption.
