Purpose
Meeting will identify/clarify priorities from the Town Council, provide direction on the “Y” (Washington Street Corridor and Yount Street Civic Promenade), and continue to build Council/Staff relationships.
This meeting will provide an opportunity for the Town Council and community to consider goals and their relative priority. The information from this session will inform staff’s work on producing the biennial budget and more specific goals and initiatives for the year.

12:00pm-12:10pm. Overall Welcome to the Group (Non-agenda public comment). 12:10pm-1:00pm. Lunch Exercise – Input on FOCUS Mission Statement The Town Council and staff discuss the Yountville FOCUS Mission Statement from various perspectives.
Proposed Mission Statement – Town of Yountville is a Forward-thinking agency with an Open-minded workforce that is Committed to Yountville and Unified with the community in delivering Sustainable results.
1:00pm-1:20pm. Top 20 Dot Exercise – Collective Wins
The Town Council reviews and states preferences on a list of 20 potential projects/programs/policies that are not big, new initiatives for the year but smaller efforts that can be done for not a lot of staff time or financial resources as time allows.
1:20pm-1:30pm. BREAK
1:30pm-2:30pm. Goals Grid and Dot Exercise
The Town Council reviews a grid of potential goals for the future and discusses their priorities from various perspectives such as “green efforts,” health, safety, and overall funding priorities. 2:30pm-3:00pm. Team Building and Culture
The Town Council receives a presentation on team building models that the staff has been discussing.

3:10pm-4:10pm. The “Y” - Washington Street Corridor and Yount Street Civic Promenade The Town Council discusses the commercial corridor and civic promenade of Yountville. 4:10pm-4:15pm. Wrap up and Closing
