A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF YOUNTVILLE APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT 2024-891 WITH BPR
CONSULTING GROUP FOR PLAN CHECK, BUILDING INSPECTION, BUILDING OFFICIAL, AND PERMIT TECHNICIAN SERVICES; INCREASING THE COST; AND AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 1.
___________________________________________________________________________ Recitals
A. Since 2015, the Town of Yountville has contracted for plan check, building inspection, and building official services as needed on a part-time basis. These specialized services are needed to ensure new construction and additions and modifications to existing buildings comply with the health and safety requirements of the Town’s Building Codes.
B. On June 18, 2024, the Town Council authorized a Professional Services Agreement with BPR Consulting Group to perform these services with a total value of $270,000 for FY24/25 and FY25/26 not to exceed $135,000 per fiscal year.
C. As supplemental Permit Technician and plan check services are essential to providing highquality customer service and streamlining administrative processes, it is imperative to continue to utilize BPR Consulting Group services via Amendment No. 1 to the existing Agreement with a value of $89,320 for a total contract value of $359,320.
D. Amendment No. 1 is proportioned as follows:

E. Pursuant to Yountville Municipal Code, procurement of professional services greater than $45,000 requires Town Council approval. Adoption of the Resolution will approve Amendment No. 1 to the BPR Consulting Group Agreement and authorize the Town Manager to execute the Agreement.
Now, therefore, the Town Council of the Town of Yountville does resolve as follows:
1. Approve Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Agreement 2024-891 with BPR Consulting Group for plan check, building inspection, building official, and permit technician services; increasing the cost; and authorizing the Town Manager to execute Amendment No. 1.
2. The Resolution is hereby adopted and becomes effective and in full force immediately upon adoption.
