We would like to thank Kirsty who reached out to us to show us some plans as a representative of the developers. She shared the current plans with us and we are good with the landscaping which includes them planting some trees on their side as well as on our property. The fence was also changed which is ok by us as long it is a living fence covered with some plants.

We are still not happy with the second story right next to our property which not only dwarfs and overshadows our little house but also blocks most of the sunlight. We were shown a slight modification which pulled in the second story by a couple of feet which is not enough. We suggested moving it over the port cochere to the west close to the two story building or moving it down to the ground level but were told that couldn't be done. This is the same issue we had brought up to the ZDRB and they discussed it extensively in their meetings, which I'm sure is in the minutes. Here is an excerpt from our previous email to them:
"They have added a tall monolithic structure for Apartments 1 & 2 that are like a big block right next to our house which blocks the sunlight, impedes our privacy, looks into our house and dwarfs our house and creates a claustrophobic environment."
We are hoping the City Council will be able to help mitigate this issue. We have been given to understand that the current project is governed by State Laws and that the Town is powerless to effect any changes. We hope that's not entirely true.

Thank you for your consideration and for your service to our community.

Best-
Pablo and Sherri Luther
