Dear Mayor Mohler and Town Council Members,
I am writing to express my enthusiastic support for the reestablishment of Hunter Gather, a curated mercantile shop, in Yountville. As a frequent visitor to your town-almost every weekend during the summer to escape the fog of Nob Hill—I have come to cherish Yountville's unique charm and its dedication to fostering a vibrant, welcoming community.
Hunter Gather embodies the ethos and character that makes Yountville such a special destination. This female-owned small business not only offers thoughtfully curated goods but also reflects a commitment to quality, creativity, and community. It was a beloved part of Yountville's fabric during its initial run, and its return as a flagship location would undoubtedly enhance the town's appeal, both for residents and visitors alike.
Supporting Hunter Gather aligns with Yountville's reputation as a hub for artistry, craftsmanship, and local entrepreneurship. Its presence would add another layer of authenticity to the town's character while contributing to its economic vitality. The shop's focus on curating distinctive, meaningful items perfectly complements Yountville's existing mix of experiential dining, wine culture, and boutique offerings.
As someone who deeply appreciates the thoughtful curation of spaces and experiences, I would be thrilled to see Hunter Gather become a part of Yountville once again. I urge the council to consider the value this unique business brings to the community and to support its efforts to reestablish itself in town.
Thank you for your time and thoughtful consideration of this matter.
Warm regards,
Kirsten Strobel
