Resolution Number 25-4380
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF YOUNTVILLE APPROVING
THE NAMING OF THE YOUNTVILLE COMMUNITY CENTER OUTDOOR KITCHEN AND BARBECUE “BUD’S BARBECUE” IN MEMORY OF BUD DULINSKY.
___________________________________________________________________________ Recitals
A. The Town has established a Naming, Dedication and Memorial Policy that guides the systematic and consistent approach for the official naming or parks and recreation areas, facilities and other Town owned facilities.
B. A request has been made by a Town staff person to name the newly renovated Yountville Community Center outdoor kitchen and barbecue area after long time resident and Town visionary Bus Dulinsky.
C. Per the established policy, this application meets the criteria established for naming facilities after an individual/s who have given outstanding civic service to the Town of Yountville.
D. Bud Dulinsky was an integral part of the group who worked to incorporate the Town of Yountville as was appointed to the founding Yountville Town Council. Bud was also a longtime volunteer firefighter, a member of the Native Sons of the Golden West and a board member of the George C. Yount Cemetery Association. Bud was also a long time member of the Community Hall Commission.
E. As the Town finalizes the renovation of the outdoor kitchen and barbecue, staff recommended naming the barbecue area “Bud’s Barbecue” and reaffirming the Community Hall kitchen as “Barbara’s Kitchen.”
Now, therefore, the Town Council of the Town of Yountville does resolve as follows:
1. Adopts Resolution Number 25-4380, approving naming of the Community Center outdoor kitchen and barbecue Bud’ Barbecue in memory of Bud Dulinsky.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Yountville, State of California, held on this 5 day of August 2025 by the following vote:
