Naming the Community Hall Kitchen " Barbara's Kitchen" in Recognition of Barbara J.
Dulinsky's Many Contributions to the Town and Community v Recitals
A. Barbara J. Dulinsky is a well-known and respected community leader who has served the Town in many ways including Town Treasurer, Town Clerk, and by serving on many Town of Yountville committees.
B. Barbara's community involvement reaches well beyond professional and civic service to the Town of Yountville; it includes thirteen years of facilitating, preparing, and cooking Thanksgiving Holiday meals for hundreds of people in the Community Hall kitchen; C. It includes the many floods when residents evacuated their homes and stayed many days and nights at the Community Hall and Barbara prepared and served meals to the displaced from the Hall kitchen, temporarily dubbed " Disaster Cafe".
D. We know Barbara was the driving force, but she may not have been able to accomplish all she did for the community without the support of the man behind the woman — her husband, Bud.. .and, indeed, her entire family.
E. The Community Hall Commission unanimously endorsed the staff recommendation to name Community Hall Kitchen to "Barbara's Kitchen."
Now therefore, the Town Council of the Town of Yountville does resolve as follows:
1. The Community Hall Kitchen is hereby named Barbara's Kitchen in recognition of her many contributions to the Town and community.
2. Thanks Barbara J. Dulinsky for your dedication and service to the Town and to its people in times of both disasters and celebrations.
