A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF YOUNTVILLE APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT 2025-975 WITH
PLACEWORKS FOR PREPARATION OF ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL STUDIES RELATED TO THE YOUNTVILLE COMMONS PROJECT; INCREASING THE COST; AND AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 1. ___________________________________________________________________________ Recitals
A. On May 6, 2025, the Town Council authorized a Professional Services Agreement with PlaceWorks to prepare California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) analysis and documentation for the Yountville Commons Project with a total value of $183,138.
B. As the project has progressed, it has become evident that additional technical studies will be required related to CEQA and policy updates related to the Town’s Housing Preference Policy. Additional budget via Amendment No. 1 to the existing PSA up to but not exceeding $50,000 for a total not to exceed contract amount of $233,138 is required for this additional work.
C. Pursuant to Yountville Municipal Code, procurement of professional services greater than $45,000 requires Town Council approval. Adoption of the Resolution will approve Amendment No. 1 to the PlaceWorks Agreement and authorize the Town Manager to execute the Agreement.
Now, therefore, the Town Council of the Town of Yountville does resolve as follows:
1. Approve Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Agreement 2025-975 with PlaceWorks for preparation of additional technical studies for the Yountville Commons Project; increasing the cost; and authorizing the Town Manager to execute Amendment No. 1.
2. The Resolution is hereby adopted and becomes effective and in full force immediately upon adoption.
