Why do you want to serve on this Board, Commission, or Committee? I want to give back to the community I live in and provide an active voice/perspective from a local resident in order to help plan activities and events for all to enjoy.
How would you approach the volunteer position representing the community's interests?
I would be open to learn how I can best be an assets to the committee and community. I would also review past approaches to engaging the community, success rate and solicit community feedback for their wants/needs.
What strengths/expertise/special skills would you bring to the Board, Commission, or Committee?
I bring the perspective of a local father who wished to foster an inclusive for the community and his son. My professional journey has allowed me to plan and execute engaging events with great attention to detail.
Please describe your previous community service and volunteer experience.
Most recently I volunteer as the Employee Resource Group liaison for my zone at Frito Lay. In this capacity I ensure awareness of cultural events occurring within out company for groups such as ; MOSIAC, RISE, Valor, Adelante and more. I have served on campus wide committees such as ; MLK Jr Day Celebration, Hispanic Leadership Council, Latino Networking Caucus, Young Latino Network, University Diversity Action Council
