While the usage-based water charges appear reasonable, the flat monthly fees for water and sewer services are significant.
Given these high fixed costs, I respectfully request that the Town consider adopting a short grace period, such as 10 days, for payments received shortly after the 20th of the month. I also request that any charge applied for late payment be clearly identified as a late fee, rather than categorized as an "adjustment," and that such fees be waived when payment is made within the grace period.
Thank you for your consideration.

Atttn: Town of Yountville Town Council 01/06/26
Rosella Giuliani, and I, today, in good faith appeared at the posted meeting of Town Council. This instills the lack of importance given to town members who are trying to make a difference. We were left "holding the bag" or in this case "holding a bucket of water" ready to flush our toilets.
Would you please provide an expected start date and an expected completion date? Neither of us will be in town to attend meeting of 01/13/26, If, in fact, the Town Council will actually meet.
Sincerely,
Cheryle Stanley

RE: Need for public restrooms at V Marketplace (Vintage 1870) I have been coming to Yountville since the 1980's when I became a teacher in Napa. I even taught at Yountville Elementary for a time in the 1990's and my students sang at the Christmas Tree lighting ceremonies. have enjoyed coming to Yountville to shop, eat, and take long walks. During those many years I have used the restroom available at the then Vintage 1870.
Yesterday I parked in the parking lot at Vintage 1870, now V Marketplace, and decided I could use the restroom before getting my favorite hot chocolate mix at Kollar's and taking a long walk. The door to the women's restroom was locked. I asked some workers and they said the owner put locks on the doors and the restrooms are for employees only now.
I can understand why the owner of a private business does not want to provide public restrooms. However, V Marketplace is advertising itself as housing specialty shops, art galleries, etc. (See attached Trip Advisor statement I took off the internet today).
Currently, tourists drive long hours to get to V Marketplace and the elegance of Yountville. I have directed many a desperate tourist to those restrooms. Parents with children need a public restroom. Tourists come by trolley and joyfully get off the trolley to use the restroom, shop, eat, and experience Yountville. And many a time I have watched excited young women primping at the restroom mirror so excited to experience all they have read about.
V Marketplace needs to continue providing a convenient, clean, attractive, restroom (with disability access whether provided by the owner of the building or the city of Yountville.
Sincerely,
Ices

About
V Marketplace is the original icon of specialty retail in northern California's wine country. One of the first wineries in the Napa Valley, Groezinger Winery was built in 1870 and continued operating as a winery until 1955. This lovely old brick building was destined to be sold and torn down for the price of its bricks, but a small group of visionaries purchased it and lovingly restored the building and it now houses specialty shops, art galleries and three restaurants including Emmy-award winning Chef Michael Chiarello's fabulous and much touted rustic farm- ‹ See all things to do V Marketplace • 3.8
