1. CALL TO ORDER; CONVENE SPECIAL MEETING - 1:00 P.M.
2. ROLL CALL
Present: 5; Mayor Margie Mohler, Vice Mayor Robin McKee, Council Member Eric Knight, Council Member Hillery Trippe, Council Member Pam Reeves
Absent: None
3. ADOPTION OF AGENDA
A motion was made by Vice Mayor McKee, seconded by Council Member Reeves to adopt the agenda.
The motion carried by the following vote:
AYES: 5; Mayor Mohler, Vice Mayor McKee, Council Member Knight, Council Member Trippe, Council Member Reeves
NOES: 0
ABSTAIN: 0
4. NON-AGENDA PUBLIC COMMENT
Mayor Mohler opened public comment, receiving none, Mayor Mohler closed public comment.
5. APPLICANT INTERVIEWS
A. Applicant interviews for the Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission to fill three (3) expiring terms.
Communications Director/Town Clerk Gaede presented the staff report.
Applicant Sangeeta Marwaha submitted written interview responses which were distributed to Town Council prior to the meeting due to an excused absence from reporting in person. In person interviews were conducted for applicants Myrna David, Hector Sanchez and Alan Tenscher.
Applicant Loreen Ruegg did not report for her interview time slot. Communications Director/Town Clerk Gaede reported that applicant Ruegg did not reply to confirm her interview time and was not reachable via phone by staff. Parks and Recreation Director Holland confirmed that applicant Ruegg was likely on holiday out of the country.
6. ADMINISTRATIVE / REGULAR ITEMS
A. Consider appointment of three (3) individuals to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission with a term of office to commence January 21, 2026, and expire January 20, 2028.

Staff received direction from Town Council to administratively update the procedure in the Board, Committee and Commission Handbook to create a clause about withdrawal from a recruitment.
A motion was made by Council Member Reeves, seconded by Council Member Trippe to appoint applicants Myrna David, Hector Sanchez and Alan Tenscher to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission with a term of office to commence January 21, 2026, and expire January 20, 2028. The motion carried by the following vote:
AYES: 5; Mayor Mohler, Vice Mayor McKee, Council Member Knight, Council Member Trippe, Council Member Reeves
NOES: 0
ABSTAIN: 0
7. ADJOURNMENT
Adjourn to the Town Council closed session meeting Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. or as soon as practicable after the 1:00 P.M. special meeting being held in Town Council Chambers.
