A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF YOUNTVILLE APPROVING BUDGET ADJUSTMENT OF $75,000 TO THE CAPITAL PROJECTS COMMUNITY CENTER ENHANCEMENTS CF-0022.
___________________________________________________________________________ Recitals
A. The Community Center's new Bud’s BBQ, constructed in 2025, has quickly become a popular destination for local residents. Bud’s BBQ area currently lacks adequate shade.
This improvement aligns with the community's desire for more accessible and inviting outdoor amenities.
B. Staff recommends a budget adjustment to allocate $75,000 from the Capital Improvement Project (CIP) CF-0040 Community Center/Hall Solar Panel Repair, Replacement, and Maintenance in fund 81 to the CF-0022 Community Center Enhancements in fund 50 specifically for the installation of a retractable shade system at Bud’s BBQ area.
C. Project CF-0040 Community Center/Hall Solar Panel Repair, Replacement, and Maintenance, assessed the condition of the existing solar panels at the Community Center.
The solar panels were deemed to be in suitable condition and do not require replacement at this time.
D. Staff is requesting the council approval the budget adjustment and reallocate $75,000 from fund 81 project CF-0040 Community Center/Hall Solar Panel Repair, Replacement, and Maintenance to fund 50 project CF-0022 Community Center Enhancements.
Now, therefore, the Town Council of the Town of Yountville does resolve as follows:
1. Authorize a budget adjustment and reallocate $75,000 from fund 81 project CF 0040 Community Center/Hall Solar Panel Repair, Replacement, and Maintenance to fund 50 project CF-0022 Community Center Enhancements.
2. The Resolution is hereby adopted and becomes effective and in full force immediately upon adoption
