A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF YOUNTVILLE APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO INCREASE THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF AGREEMENT 2023-817
WITH COMMERCIAL POWER SWEEP AND AUTHORIZING THE TOWN MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 2 UP TO THE BUDGETED AMOUNT.

A. The Town is required to sweep the streets clean of trash and debris to comply with the terms of our National Pollution Elimination System (NPDES) and the Bay Area Storm Water Management Agencies Association (BASMAA) Phase II permit. In addition, it helps to keep the town clean and contributes to the health and welfare of our community.
B. The original Agreement was authorized by the Town Council on August 1, 2023. Amendment No. 1, approved by Town Council on July 16, 2024, extended the contract term and increased the not-to-exceed amount to $147,430. The agreement remains in effect through June 30, 2026.
C. Review of projected costs for the remainder of the contract term shows that the Agreement amount needs to be increased by $65,835, resulting in a total not-to-exceed amount of $213,265 to reflect the full cost of services through June 30, 2026.
Now, therefore, the Town Council of the Town of Yountville does resolve as follows:
1. Authorize the Amendment to increase the maximum amount of the contract with Commercial Power Sweep.
2. Authorize the Town Manager to execute the Amendment up to the budgeted amount.
3. The Resolution is hereby adopted and becomes effective and in full force immediately upon adoption.
