RECOMMENDATION
Proclamation - National Public Works Week 2026.
DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND
The Town is proud to recognize National Public Works Week, May 17–23, 2026, and this year’s theme, “Rooted in Service, Powered by Community.” Public Works provide the essential services that keep the community safe, connected, and functioning every day, from streets and bridges to water and sewer systems. Whether visible or behind the scenes, this work supports a strong and thriving Town.
This theme reflects the Town’s commitment to service and the people who make it possible. From emergency response and utility support to waste collection and safe streets, Public Works remain at the forefront of serving the community every day.
