APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH PLACEWORKS FOR ON-CALL PLANNING SUPPORT IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $40,000 PER FISCAL YEAR, TOTALING $80,000 FOR FISCAL YEARS 26/27 AND 27/28. ______________________________________________________________________________ Recitals
A. In 2021, the Town entered into a Professional Service Agreement with PlaceWorks to prepare the Town’s 2023-2031 6th Cycle Housing Element.
B. In 2024, the Town entered into a two-year PSA with PlaceWorks for Fiscal Years 24/25 and 25/26 to assist with any outstanding requirements related to Housing Element implementation, state reporting, and other on-call planning needs.
C. Town staff seek to renew the agreement with PlaceWorks for the continuation of on-call support services for the Fiscal Years 26/27 and 27/28.
Now therefore, the Town Council of the Town of Yountville does resolve as follows:
1. The Town Council hereby adopts the Resolution approving a Professional Services Agreement with PlaceWorks for on-call planning services as required.
2. The Town Council authorizes the Town Manager to sign the Agreement and subsequent amendments.
3. The Resolution is hereby adopted and becomes effective and in full force beginning July 1, 2026.
