A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF YOUNTVILLE
APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH BPR
CONSULTING GROUP FOR CONTRACTED PLAN CHECK, BUILDING INSPECTION,
BUILDING OFFICIAL, PERMIT TECH, OPTIONAL CODE ENFORCEMENT AND OTHER SERVICES AS REQUIRED IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $192,940 PER FISCAL YEAR, TOTALING $385,880 FOR FISCAL YEARS 26/27 AND 27/28. ______________________________________________________________________________ Recitals
A. Since 2015, the Town of Yountville has contracted for plan check, building inspection, and building official services. These specialized services are needed to ensure new construction, additions and modifications to existing buildings to comply with the health and safety requirements of the Town’s Building Codes.
B. In 2021, the Town entered into a Professional Service Agreement with BPR Consulting Group (“BPR”) to perform these services. In addition to plan check, building inspection, permit tech, and building official services, BPR also provides optional code enforcement and other services as required.
C. In June 2024, the Town extended the Professional Service Agreement with BPR which is set to expire at the end of June 2026.
D. Town staff seeks to renew the agreement with BPR for continuation of services to maintain the high-quality relationships and services to which the Town has become accustomed for the Fiscal Years 26/27 and 27/28.
Now therefore, the Town Council of the Town of Yountville does resolve as follows:
1. The Town Council hereby adopts the Resolution approving a Professional Service Agreement with BPR for on call municipal services for plan check, permit tech, building inspection, and building official services, optional code enforcement and other services as required.
2. The Town Council authorizes the Town Manager to sign the Agreement and subsequent amendments.
3. The Resolution is hereby adopted and becomes effective and in full force beginning July 1, 2026.
