RECOMMENDATION
Adopt Resolution Number 26-4419 approving a Professional Services Agreement with PlaceWorks for planning consulting services. Primary services include on-call planning support for Housing Element implementation and Annual Housing Element Progress Reports; however, other on-call support services could be used as needed in an amount not to exceed $40,000 per fiscal year. The Professional Services Agreement is for two years, Fiscal Year 26/27 and 27/28 for a total amount of $80,000 for both fiscal years.
DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND
After completion of an RFP process, in November 2021, the Town of Yountville entered into a Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with PlaceWorks to prepare the Town’s 2023-2031 6th Cycle Housing Element.
In June 2024, the Town of Yountville entered into a two-year PSA with PlaceWorks for Fiscal Years 24/25 and 25/26 to assist with any outstanding requirements related to Housing Element implementation, state reporting, and other on-call planning needs as required.
The Town of Yountville contracts with outside consulting firms for specialty services as needed and seeks to renew the agreement with PlaceWorks for Fiscal Years 26/27 and 27/28.
Staff recommends adoption of Resolution Number 26-4419 to continue PlaceWorks important on-call services for the Town.

Exempt per California Environmental Act (CEQA) Guideline Section 15061(b)(3) as an activity that has no potential for causing a significant effect on the environment.
