RECOMMENDATION
Adopt Resolution Number 26-4415 amending the Zoning and Design Review Board bylaws.
DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND
At the regular Zoning and Design Review Board (ZDRB) meeting held on May 12, 2026, the Members of the Board received a report of the proposed update to the timeline of appointing a Chair and Vice Chair, annually.
The present Members of the Board were supportive of the proposed changes. The updated timeline for appointing a Chair and Vice Chair would be at the first regular meeting of each calendar year. This change will help ensure that a lapse in appointing a new Chair and Vice Chair will not occur again as well as align with the practice of other Town Board, Committee and Commission practices. The ZDRB staff report, redline and clean versions of the bylaws are attached for reference.

Exempt per California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3) as an activity that has no potential for causing a significant effect on the environment.
