A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF YOUNTVILLE APPROVING
USE OF GENERAL FUND ASSIGNED FOR BUDGET AND LEGAL CONTINGENCIES IN THE AMOUNT OF $70,000 FOR GENERAL TOWN ATTORNEY SERVICES IN FISCAL YEAR 2025/2026 AND APPROVING A CORRESPONDING BUDGET ADJUSTMENT TO TOWN ATTORNEY CONTRACT SERVICES.
___________________________________________________________________________ Recitals
A. Town Council approved an original budget of $325,000 for general Town attorney services.
B. Town Staff has performed a budget analysis and is estimating a total cost of $395,000 for general Town attorney services in Fiscal Year 2025/2026, which is more than the current available budget.
C. Staff recommends Town Council approve the use of General Fund Assigned for Budget and Legal Contingencies in the amount of $70,000 to cover the additional cost, and a corresponding budget adjustment of $70,000 to increase the Town Attorney Contract Services budget.
Now, therefore, the Town Council of the Town of Yountville, California, does resolve as follows:
1. Approve the use of $70,000 of Fiscal Year 2025/2026 General Fund Assigned for Budget and Legal Contingencies to cover additional Town Attorney expenditures.
2. Approve a $70,000 budget adjustment to increase the 01-1105-4210 Town Attorney Contract Services budget from $325,000 to $395,000.
