Please include the subject of the comments people make at the meetings when you're writing up the Yountville Newsletter that tells about the meeting. The last one just said "Public Comments."
In today's Napa Register I read a report about the last Yountville Council meeting written by Jennifer Huffman, reporter for the Register. She includes several paragraphs that describe some of the comments..."several residents and speakers talked about other housing in Yountville.
Some urged the town to keep working on affordable or attainable housing. Others said Yountville must protect its small-town character and be careful about big changes," and "a possible rent stabilization ordinance for senior mobile home parks in Yountville. Several speakers said such rules could help protect seniors from sharp rent increases. Two Petaluma residents described problems at other mobile home parks, including large rent hikes and threats of park closure." Since we don't have a newspaper anymore, I imagine there are others who, like myself, would appreciate knowing the nature of the comments made at the meetings.
